The Asian Peasant Coalition (APC) is an Asia-wide coalition that struggle for the rights of farmers, landless peasants, fisherfolks, agricultural workers, dalit, indigenous peoples, herders and pastoralists, including the women and youth across these sectors.

The Peasants Rise Up broadcast series tackles issues of landlessness, land grabbing, corporate control in agriculture, human rights and other issues currently faced by the peasantry across Asia. It celebrates the steadfast and growing peasant movement and its successes in the recent years. It amplifies the call for genuine agrarian reform and for land to the tillers as indispensable components of a truly radical transformation of the global food systems.
